Are You Ready? Day 4 Challenge Instructions are Here!

Day 4: Later (AI Caption Writer) - Generate Captions and Design an Instagram Feed

Hey, crew! Day 4’s here, and I’m diving into Later to whip up AI-generated captions and design a slick Instagram feed. My Wix blog’s tracking this 30-day AI sprint, and now it’s time to make it visually pop—let’s curate some Insta gold!

Objective

Today, I’ll use Later’s AI Caption Writer to create captions for five Instagram posts and arrange them into a cohesive feed that teases my challenge progress. It’s all about eye candy and smart words.

Step 1: Set Up Later

  • Head to later.com and click “Sign Up Free.” The free plan gives me 10 posts per month—plenty for this.

  • Log in, hit “Connect Social Profile,” and link my Instagram account. Follow the prompts to authenticate—takes five minutes tops.

  • You’ll land in a dashboard with a calendar and grid preview—perfect for feed planning.

Step 2: Plan Your Posts

  • I’m crafting five posts to showcase Days 0-3 and tease ahead:

    • Post 1: Day 0—screenshot of my Wix site launch.

    • Post 2: Day 1—coffee cup pic for the ChatGPT story.

    • Post 3: Day 2—brainy stock image for Grok vs. ChatGPT.

    • Post 4: Day 3—Buffer queue screenshot.

    • Post 5: Teaser—“What’s next? #AIChallenge.”

  • Grab visuals—Wix screenshots or free stock from unsplash.com (techy, clean vibes).

Step 3: Generate Captions with AI

  • In Later’s post editor, click the AI Caption Writer (free plan might limit access—use a trial if needed).

  • Prompt it: “Write a 50-character Instagram caption for my AI challenge site launch, upbeat.” Sample: “Day 0: AI challenge site’s live—let’s go! #TechVibes

  • For each post, tweak prompts—e.g., “Funny caption for Day 1’s barista story, 60 characters.” Sample: “Spilled coffee on a king—oops! #AIStory

  • Adjust tone (witty, chill) and add hashtags (#AIJourney, #InstaTech).

Step 4: Design the Feed

  • Upload your five pics to Later’s Media Library (drag and drop).

  • Drag them into the grid preview—alternate colors (blue screenshot, warm coffee pic) for flow. Aim for a checkerboard or row-by-row vibe.

  • Preview it—tweak order if it’s off. Save as a draft or schedule for tomorrow onward (e.g., one daily at 11 AM).

Step 5: Log It on Your Wix Site

  • Hit your Wix Blog section and start a new post: “Day 4: Later’s AI Captions + Feed Design.”

  • Write: “Built a 5-post Insta feed with Later’s AI captions—visuals and words on point. Took an hour—worth it.” Add a grid screenshot (Add > Image).

  • Publish—Day 4’s in the bag!

Step 6: Reflect and Update

  • Update your homepage tracker to “Days Completed: 4/30”—edit text or slide the bar.

  • Takeaway: “Later’s AI captions nail the vibe—feed’s looking sharp.” Keeps it real.

Time Check

  • 60-75 minutes: 15 for setup, 20 for captions, 20 for feed design, 15-20 for blogging. Artsy but doable.

Challenge Tie-In

  • This feed syncs with Day 3’s Buffer posts—dual-platform hype! Watch it unfold on Insta.
